Campus based, the University of Sussex is located in rolling parkland, surrounded by the South Downs National Park and minutes away from the vibrant city of Brighton & Hove.

There are twelve schools of study at the university:

Among the teaching and research staff, there are three Nobel Prize winners, 14 Fellows of the Royal Society and 12 Fellows of the British Academy in the faculty.

The university aims to encourage everyone from all social backgrounds and cultures to join, with students coming from over 120 countries.

Student facilities on campus include eight cafes, two student bars (with a third in the centre of Brighton), a weekly market and a Health Centre. A frequent bus service runs between the campus and Brighton for when you want to explore the bright lights of the city.
