University of Lincoln
The University of Lincoln is based in the city centre, located along the Brayford waterfront. The first building at the site was opened back in 1996 by the Queen.
There are three colleges making up the University:
- College of Arts
- College of Science
- College of Social Science
On campus, you will find specialist facilities, including editing and recording suites, architecture studios and a purpose-built Engineering Hub, where staff and students work in collaboration with Siemens. Science students benefit from specialist equipment and cutting-edge laboratories at the University’s Science and Innovation Park.
When studying is over for the day, you will be able to head over to the Tower Bars, complete with a waterside view it hosts regular social events, live music and sports screenings. During the evenings, the Engine Shed boasts the largest live music venue in the region and has seen the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Kings of Leon and Florence and the Machine take to its stage.
